Members of the North Coastal Prevention Youth Coalition (NCPYC) participated in a project to send a strong message to adults in their community, encouraging customers in local stores and markets to do their part to prevent underage drinking by never providing alcohol to minors. NCPYC members created signs to place in local stores and markets using photos of themselves, and messages in their own words about the risks and consequences of underage drinking. These signs were  positioned throughout store aisles as a reminder to shoppers about this important issue. Almost a dozen retail outlets in Oceanside and Vista partner with local youth to place signs in store aisles warning customers about the dangers of providing alcohol to minors.
