The Coalition is governed by a nine (9) member, and up to four (4) alternates, Board of Directors. Officers to the Board include a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  Each Board Member shall serve a term of two (2) years and live, work or have a sphere of influence in Vista, Oceanside or Carlsbad.

Board Members shall:

  • Be an active Member, ensuring the mission, vision and purpose is being met to its fullest potential.
  • Advocate within their community for local policy changes, in alignment with NCPC’s mission.
  • Set the strategic direction of NCPC.
  • Attend monthly Board of Directors meetings.
  • Work in partnership with VCC staff to provide direction and guidance on Coalition meetings; provide leads for VCC led presentations, trainings and other activities; support the planning and implementation of annual 420 Remix.
  • Monitor fiscal dealings, including reviewing revenue and expenses.
  • Represent the Coalition at meetings and events.
