The North Coastal Prevention Coalition (NCPC) won a public health award from the County of San Diego.
The 2013 Live Well, San Diego! Public Health Champion Award honors NCPC's extraordinary achievements in protecting and promoting the health of residents in San Diego County.
The North Coastal Region of the Division of Public Health Services in the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency selected NCPC for the distinction.
As part of the County of San Diego's celebration of National Public Health Week, a special award ceremony will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 5 at the County Administration Complex, 1600 Pacific Highway in San Diego, Room 310.
