The Eastside Neighborhood Association is proud to announce its 6th annual “Día del Niño” celebration (translates from Spanish: Day of the Child), a children’s festival will be on Saturday, April 24th, 2009 from 10am to 2pm at Joe Balderrama Park,

Once again, The North Coastal Prevention Coalition will sponsor the 420 Remix, A Celebration of Sober and Drug Free Life Choices, in an attempt to counter the popular pro-marijuana notion by providing youth with an alternative activity on April 20th.

As part of NCPC’s efforts to educate the community on the issue of underage drinking, NCPYC members at Vista High School and Rancho Buena Vista High School are planning and organizing two community forums in Vista to discuss the problem.
